THE HULL.

The semi-displacement hull features flatter surfaces and lifting strakes to make planing quicker with less power and help prevent squatting. The chines that direct spray away from the cabin perform double duty by diminishing rolling in heavy seas. And while the Swift Trawler may handle like a sport fisher, it can take even the most extreme turns with a minimum of heel. A shallow keel astern also allows you to get a little closer to shore without having to worry about prop or rudder damage.

The end result is a trawler so much fun, you won’t think twice about heading out in less than ideal conditions. And the Swift Trawler is just as comfortable at 8 knots in the harbor as it is at 20 knots on the open ocean.
